Lifeguard – Mason City Aquatic Center

What You’ll Do:
*Oversee swimmers and all users of the pool, ensuring everyone’s safety.
*Enforce pool rules and maintain a safe, friendly atmosphere.
*Lead or assist with pool activities, making sure they run smoothly.
*Stay on duty until the pool is cleared and safely closed.
*Assist with swimming lessons and help participants improve their skills.
*Report accidents, concerns, or issues to the head guard.
The Perks:

Childcare Staff

Our childcare staff are responsible for the children in our Before & After School program at Harding, Roosevelt, and Hoover elementary.
Duties:
Assist in the planning, organizing and leading activities at the site; assist in teaching various games, crafts and managing the rules of play at the site; responsible for assisting in the issuing and collecting of equipment; supervise approximately 10-50 participants.
*$11.00/hour and up, based on experience
*3-30 hours/week available
