Nominate Alumni
51ÁÔÆæ recognizes outstanding and distinguished alumni each year. Alumni recipients are selected by a special committee of the 51ÁÔÆæ Alumni Association Advisory Board through nominations by alumni, 51ÁÔÆæ faculty, staff and friends. The awards are presented at the Pathways to Success Leadership event in April.
Outstanding Alumni
This honor recognizes individuals who have graduated from 51ÁÔÆæ or Mason City Junior College. Typically one individual is selected each year. Alumni are honored for outstanding and professional achievement, and for bringing recognition to their alma mater through significant accomplishments and obvious contributions to their community, state and nation. Nominees must be at least 10 years beyond graduation. The honoree serves as the keynote speaker for the annual Pathways to Success Leadership Event in April.
Distinguished Alumni
This honor recognizes individuals who have attended 51ÁÔÆæ or Mason City Junior College for a minimum of 30 semester hours (will be verified by the College.) The nominee regularly provides exemplary service to 51ÁÔÆæ and/or to the community with their time and talent. Typically, between one and three individuals may be selected each year.
