51ÁÔÆæAlerts is a free messaging service to provide text messages and e-mail notices to students and staff about campus closings due to weather, and other emergency announcements should there be a need to quickly notify the campus community of threats to the safety of students and staff. The messaging service is provided by Regroup.
51ÁÔÆæ will create your account for current students and BVU students to receive email messages and text messages to the cell phone. If you provided your cell phone number to 51ÁÔÆæ Admissions when you applied or on the purple sheet when you registered for classes we likely have added your cell phone to the Alerts system already.
Students – To provide your cell phone number to receive emergency messages please log in to the and fill out the 51ÁÔÆæAlerts Cell Phone Update Form.
