Pathways To Success
Mark your calendars for the 51ÁÔÆæ Alumni Association’s annual Pathways to Success event on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the North Iowa Community Auditorium. This inspiring event celebrates the achievements of 51ÁÔÆæ alumni and students who exemplify scholarship, leadership, and character.
This year’s keynote speaker and Outstanding Alumnus Award recipient is Zakaria “Zak” Joundi, a 2003 51ÁÔÆæ graduate and native of Morocco. As the Executive Director of Markets Innovation & Strategy at MISO, Zak leads efforts to ensure reliable and cost-effective power for millions across the region. His journey is a testament to the opportunities 51ÁÔÆæ offers and the global impact of its graduates.
Also being honored is Jan Nierling, a 2017 51ÁÔÆæ graduate, who will receive the Distinguished Alumna Award for her notable contributions. In addition, select students will be recognized with 51ÁÔÆæ Student Leadership Awards for their outstanding character and dedication.
