51ÁÔÆæ Joins GivingTuesday for the First Time to Support Campus Food Pantry
51ÁÔÆæ (51ÁÔÆæ) is excited to join GivingTuesday, the global movement of generosity, for the first time this year, spotlighting an essential campus resource: the 51ÁÔÆæ Food Pantry. Located in the Foundation suite and open to the 51ÁÔÆæ community, the Food Pantry provides vital support to those experiencing food insecurity. Each month, approximately 200 visitors utilize this resource, making it a cornerstone of the college’s commitment to student well-being and success.
This year, 51ÁÔÆæ is inviting alumni and the community to participate in GivingTuesday by making a donation that will help stock the Pantry’s shelves. GivingTuesday, which takes place on December 3, 2024, is a global day of giving that inspires millions of people around the world to support causes that matter to them and foster collaboration within their communities.
“Participating in GivingTuesday for the first time is an incredible opportunity for 51ÁÔÆæ to come together as a community and support our students in a meaningful way,” said Molly Knoll, Foundation Director. “The Food Pantry makes a real difference in the lives of our students, and we’re excited to use this day of generosity to ensure that this vital resource continues to thrive.”
