Qualifications
Education and Experience: High school diploma, HiSet, or GED and two years of experience in general maintenance and repair of gasoline or diesel powered automotive or heavy equipment engines or their related systems (including manufacturing maintenance and repair); or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An associate's degree in automotive, auto-mechanic, and/or diesel technology from a hands on experience based program is preferred.

Employment Qualifications: No record of more than two total moving violations and/or accidents in the last three years; no more than two serious accidents within the last five years; no record of operating a vehicle while under the influence (OWI); no record of revoked or suspended driver's license in last five years; no record of hit and run accidents. An offer of employment is conditional upon the following: satisfactory background check; obtaining CDL Permit; employment physical; drug and alcohol test; and obtaining a CDL license.

Licenses and Certificates: Ability to obtain a valid Iowa Drivers License; ability to obtain Commercial Driver's License Permit within 30 days of start date; ability to obtain Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B with passenger and air brake endorsements) within three attempts; must maintain Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B with passenger and air brake endorsements).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Some knowledge of the operation, repair and maintenance of automotive or heavy equipment systems; some knowledge of the safe use and care of tools and equipment used in maintaining and repairing automotive equipment; some knowledge of tools, equipment and procedures involved in welding as related to automotive maintenance. Some knowledge of vehicle networking.

Skill in correctly and safely performing repair or maintenance tasks, including welding and use of shop power tools; skill in the safe operation of automotive vehicles.

Ability to diagnose, remove, and replace defective automotive equipment; ability to follow oral and written instruction; ability to perform routine work in accordance with established time and safety standards under undesirable working conditions; ability to establish and to maintain effective work relationships with co-workers.

Job Duties:
Write clear, accurate, and engaging stories for the station’s website and digital platforms using broadcast scripts, Associated Press wire
stories, outside sources, and raw news facts.
Produce and distribute original content across digital platforms in alignment with established editorial and brand standards.
Communicate regularly with coworkers to ensure stories are accurate, complete, and appropriately presented.
Create images and use video to accompany stories using online tools; edit video clips and post content to the website, ensuring visuals
are relevant, appropriate, and impactful.
Work with Reporters, Anchors, Photographers, and Producers to generate interactive elements and additional digital content for news
stories.
Identify and post engaging digital and social media content that supports newsroom goals and community outreach efforts.
Assist with digital coverage for major news events such as station‑sponsored events, elections, and sporting events, including stories,
live‑streaming opportunities, social media posts, and photo and video content.
Assist the assignment desk by helping assign reporter stories, making calls on potential stories, managing news content, and

Qualifications:

Experience using digital publishing content management systems.
Working knowledge of photo editing, video editing, and basic HTML.
Experience using major social media platforms such as Facebook, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team.

The City of Mason City is seeking a Rental Housing & Code Enforcement Officer to join our Development Services team. In this role, you'll split your time between the office and the field conducting inspections, investigating complaints, enforcing housing and zoning regulations, and helping property owners understand and comply with City codes. You'll play an important role in protecting the safety, appearance, and quality of life in our community.

What You'll Do:
- Conduct rental housing inspections of single-family and multi-family dwellings.
- Inspect residential and commercial properties for housing, building, zoning, and property maintenance code compliance.
- Investigate complaints involving nuisance properties, junk and debris, inoperable vehicles, nuisance trees, and other ordinance violations.
- Meet with property owners, landlords, tenants, contractors, and residents to explain City codes and discuss compliance solutions.
- Prepare inspection reports, notices of violation, citations, and other enforcement documentation.
- Maintain inspection records using the City's permitting and code enforcement software.
- Review zoning permits and assist with zoning and floodplain ordinance administration.
- Perform follow-up inspections to verify corrective actions have been completed.
- Present information before boards and commissions and testify in court when necessary.
- Collaborate with other City departments to improve neighborhood safety, appearance, and quality of life.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Coursework in structural engineering, construction, environmental health, land use, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in building inspection, construction, code enforcement, property management, facilities maintenance, environmental health, municipal government, building trades, or related regulatory or inspection work is strongly desired.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Special Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one prior to appointment. Must maintain compliance with City’s Administrative Policy on Operation of City Vehicles (AP 5.03).
- This is a Civil Service position and following receipt of an application candidates will be notified of the next steps in the hiring process.

Job Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist will operate computerized and manual radiological equipment for orthopaedic diagnostic purposes. The position will act as an ambassador on behalf of the company with customers, clients, and vendors in public.

Skills and/or Qualifications (not limited to):

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Knowledge of the current trends and techniques of x-ray technology.
Ability to learn to conduct quality control studies; learn to use computerized radiologic equipment; learn to operate a computer for recordkeeping purposes.
Ability to establish effective working relationships with patients and staff.
Strong customer service, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to understand and carry out complex oral and written instructions.
Knowledgeable of HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
Education and/or Experience:

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Radiologic Technology
Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the state and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
Must obtain and maintain professional certification.
Mandatory reporting in both children and adult.
Basic Life Support/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

Using proper radiation protection and precautions, prepares and operates radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable equipment
Positions patients to obtain appropriate radiographic exposures
Knowledge of physician protocols for specific studies
Complete ABN billing forms for pre-ancillary services to ensure reimbursement
Complete studies for pre-screening safety measures for ancillary services
Research and obtain external images for upcoming surgical procedures
Process imaging requests for patient referrals to external facilities
Maintains computerized records, files, and/or reports
Participates in quality control and quality assurance studies
Maintain compliance by submission of radiation badges to Landauer Dosimeter Company for monthly radiation read
Performs daily quality checks on the Xray machine to guarantee proper operation and safety
Reports issues/malfunctions to Clinical Supervisor and contacts servicing company for assistance
Yearly shield checks for safety of staff and patients. Reports any concerns to the Clinical Supervisor
Regular in office attendance is required
Other duties as assigned
